Promethean Promotions undertakes trading activities such as event management and the sale of branded merchandise, the profits from which help fund Sky Creative Sussex. This includes organising the annual WynterCon event (a comic-con-style fundraising showcase) held in Eastbourne, UK.

WynterCon
WynterCon is an award-winning comic-con style event organised by Promethean Promotions.
The event's purpose is to generate funds for and awareness of the charity's activities and workshops, which run throughout the year. This event is regarded as one of the biggest family-friendly events on the south coast and is part of the local calendar.
The WynterCon event has a Comic and Sci-fi theme. It features exhibitors, artists, actors and authors alongside props and photo opportunities from the world of film and TV.
In addition to raising funds for the charity, the event plays host to a showcase of free interactive workshops provided by Sky Creative Sussex. These include a cosplay competition, role-playing game taster sessions and other educational art and technology-based workshops which promote inclusivity, creativity and environmental awareness.
